Strengthening the inner city through urban development

Retailers in the Gelsenkirchen inner city have been supported with a programme of measures. As a result, existing qualities have been secured and deficits in the city have been stabilised and upgraded in the sense of an overall, integrated development strategy with the involvement of local stakeholders.
