The "Schillerpark" housing estate close to the inner-city was suffering from considerable housing economy and social problems. To upgrade the settlement, the buildings were reduced in parts, structural-technical deficits were corrected, attractive open spaces created and the housing supply adjusted to the altered demand structure.
