The overall urban open space concept "Neue Freiräume Hoyerswerda" steers the development and design of the geographically separate and delayed open spaces created as a result of a high level of population loss and the demolition of apartment buildings because of the high level of vacancies. The concept is understood as a community task for all stakeholders in the urban redevelopment.
