Neu-Isenburg „Urban Support for the Elderly“

Wide range of housing and everyday assistance in the urban district

In neighbourhood IV of Neu-Isenburg's town centre, a housing facility was built for families and elderly people and a meeting place for young and old. In this meeting place, a neighbourhood advisory office was set up especially for elderly people and their relatives. This model of combining old people's housing, social work for the elderly and counselling close to home has since been applied to other urban districts.
