Revitalization of former industrial sites

Faced with deep-seated structural change and its serious repercussions, Dessau Council is opting for the revitalization of industrial sites that have fallen into disuse. The strategy is also known as the “Dessau Way” and specifies that emerging brownfields are to be dedicated to new uses immediately by various measures and that no businesses are to be established in the surrounding areas.
